Lib dems avoid litter bin debate again

Lib dems talked out Norman Jorgensen's motion on litter bins for a second time tonight at Wokingham Borough Full council. They obviously are not interested in residents views or doing the right thing.

They cant escape a discussion forever....

Thanks to more than 1800 residents the petition I submitted tonight, entitled save our litterbins, forces a debate so far up the agenda even the Liberals and their Labour friends cant talk it out.

Given that some of their executive have missed an alternative career on 'just a minute' although the leaders speech would have been buzzed up for hesitation, I have never heard him speak so slowly to get to 10:45 when we ran out of time!
