I was delighted to meet a group of pupils and their parents from HSS who held a debate during Parliament week. The group met in Madjeski Academy and debated topics including whether Social Media should be more controlled to reduce social pressure and bullying. We helped the teams prepare their arguments and pitches and Laura Blumenthal, Cllr Rebecca Margetts and I also provided some advice on debating and public speaking and answered questions from the audience. It was an excellent event and enjoyable to meet and chat with the pupils.
