Careers advice session for BAME families

Very enjoyable afternoon as keynote speaker at a career advice session at Wycliffe Baptist Church. Thanks to Moses Iyengunmwena for inviting me.

I hope I was able to provide some useful information from my experience having had a very varied career in BA including several years running recruitment. I was also able to talk about apprenticeships from my recent meeting with the Education Secretary Gillian Keegan and Virgin Media/O2.

You also learn lots from these events and I was very interested to hear the latest hints and tips for exam preparation now that marking is automated - enlightening.

Pauline meets pupils in Parliament week

I was delighted to meet a group of pupils and their parents from HSS who held a debate during Parliament week. The group met in Madjeski Academy and debated topics including whether Social Media should be more controlled to reduce social pressure and bullying.
