Update from meeting with Police and Crime CommissIoner

Matt Barber and Pauline at Maiden Place Earley

Today an interesting meeting with Matt Barber the Police and Crime commissioner. I raised issues residents have discussed with me recently eg 
- Anti social behaviour
- Burglary 
- Drug dealing
- Road safety and in particular e-scooters
- Shop lifting

The good news is the extra police recruits will double the resources of the neighbourhood policing teams. I would be interested to hear your views on other priorities.

Pauline meets pupils in Parliament week

I was delighted to meet a group of pupils and their parents from HSS who held a debate during Parliament week. The group met in Madjeski Academy and debated topics including whether Social Media should be more controlled to reduce social pressure and bullying.
