Woodley shops hit by huge parking increases

On Wednesday I went to Woodley precinct to talk to shopkeepers about the impact the parking charges are having on their business - very worrying reports of significant revenue reduction.

Businesses say they are worried for the future of the precinct as they are being seriously impacted by the massive increases in car parking charges and also the introduction of Sunday and evening charges.  

I also talked to them about ASB and shoplifting and have some more evidence for the police and crime commissioner Matthew Barber.

Pauline meets pupils in Parliament week

I was delighted to meet a group of pupils and their parents from HSS who held a debate during Parliament week. The group met in Madjeski Academy and debated topics including whether Social Media should be more controlled to reduce social pressure and bullying.
